Fixes, additions, and improvements shipped to IceDNicco.
Pick 12.1.0 in Settings, point at your Battle.net World of Warcraft folder (Wow.exe in _retail_), then Install/Play. The launcher writes SET portal and does not download the retail client. CurseForge addons install into _retail_\Interface\AddOns. Portal accounts are separate from WotLK. Quit the tray icon, then update.
Unlike dungeons, BGs live only in RAM. After a world restart the match cannot resume mid-fight. Humans who were in a BG/arena are saved; when the party is back online (or after 8 minutes) they are queued again. Bots fill remaining slots. A new match starts.
The launcher catalog pointed at CurseForge CDN links that often returned an HTML error instead of a zip. The portal now proxies the 3.3.5 file with the API key. Same path for stock and HD clients.
Outdoor starter mobs (kobolds and the rest) were evading and healing to full when a playerbot stood slightly off the navmesh. Combat no longer drops that fight, and the mob switches to another party member in range instead of resetting.
IceDNiccoChat 1.0.6 shows collect-quest items on mob tooltips (e.g. Thelsamar Blood Sausages). Quit the tray icon, update to 1.7.6, Install/Update addons, then /reload.
Collect quests (e.g. Thelsamar Blood Sausages) now show the needed item on the mob tooltip. AOE loot also picks up quest items instead of wiping them from nearby corpses. Update IceDNiccoChat via the launcher (/reload). AOE needs a world image rebuild.
Install/Play now writes realmlist.wtf in the client root and in every Data locale folder (enUS, ruRU, deDE, …), and updates WTF/Config.wtf. Quit the tray icon, update to 1.7.5, then Install / Play once.
HD client install no longer dies on a short HTTP timeout while fetching the torrent engine. Quit the tray icon, update to 1.7.4, then retry Install on an HD folder.
The PvP ladder now lists recent battlegrounds. Open a match to see the post-game scoreboard (killing blows, deaths, honor, damage, healing, and map objectives).
The launcher file now identifies as IceDNicco Launcher. Windows or antivirus may still warn until we add a code-signing certificate. Download only from wow.icednicco.online; use More info → Run anyway if SmartScreen appears.
Addon zips that use a ! prefix (BugGrabber) or a versioned wrapper folder now unpack into Interface/AddOns. Update the launcher, quit the tray icon, then retry Install.
The Addons tab now loads the live CurseForge 3.3.5 list (700+), shows a loading/error state, and can page with Show more. Fully quit the tray icon if an older launcher stayed in memory.
The Update tab now lists the site changelog. Events shows portal news. Client install/path moved to Settings. Pick stock or HD next to Play. Background art rotates on start and over time.
The Windows launcher is now a full dark-glass window: Worlds, Update, Events, Addons, Accounts, live online count, and a large Play button. Account login stays on the portal — the launcher still never asks for a password. Existing 1.5.x copies self-update on next start.
ruRU 3.3.5 blocks some Latin names in the charter window. Type .gcreate YourName in chat (any player). The registrar still works for names the client accepts.
